Looking for a mid-level QA tester with strong bug-finding instincts to run a focused 3-day audit across web, iOS, and Android before public launch. You'll get full app access, a test plan template, test accounts, and direct line to the founder.

What you'll test
- Sign-up flow (Google OAuth + email)
- Onboarding completion path
- Core user flow — event logging, mid-action interactive screen, completion + counter progression across multi-day usage
- Subscription purchase flows in sandbox: Apple Pay, Google Pay, Razorpay (no real money charged)
- Subscription management — upgrade, downgrade, cancel, refund
- Push notification delivery + deep linking
- Settings, profile management, account deletion (with full data purge verification)
- Every tab and screen, against a coverage matrix you'll fill in
- Edge cases: poor network, app backgrounded mid-flow, multi-device sign-in, sign-out cycles, comeback windows
Devices required
Both of these (non-negotiable)
- iPhone — any model running iOS 16 or newer
- Android — any flagship or mid-range device (Samsung, Xiaomi, OnePlus, etc.) running Android 12 or newer
Plus at least one of
- A second iOS device (older model — iPhone 11 / 12 / 13)
- A second Android device (different brand or spec from the first)
- Desktop browser (Chrome on Mac or Windows)
You'll test each platform with 2 different login accounts (one Pulse-tier, one Infinite-tier) — so plan for ~6 test sessions in total across the 3 days.
Sprint structure
- Day 1: 4 hours of free exploration, you write a test plan, kickoff call (15 min)
- Day 2 – 3: active testing, bugs logged in shared sheet in real time
- Day 4: final bug report, screen recordings, summary, handoff call (30 min)
What you'll deliver
- Bug report in our Google Sheet template (we'll provide it)
- Coverage matrix — every screen × every device combo with tested status (✓ / ✗ / ⚠)
- 60–90 sec screen recordings for every Critical and Major bug
- One-page summary: bug counts by severity, top 3 risks, launch-readiness recommendation
Severity framework we use
- Critical: crashes, data loss, payment failures, security issues, blocking bugs
- Major: feature broken or wrong with workaround, OR visual / UX issue that hurts trust on signup, paywall, payment, or core flow screens — broken layouts, illegible text, confusing CTAs, broken empty states all count
- Minor: cosmetic on non-critical screens, true polish
Who we're looking for
- 2+ years of QA experience on consumer apps (web + mobile)
- Strong bug-finding instinct and an eye for things that feel off, not just things that crash
- Comfortable with screen recording on iOS and Android
- India-based for time-zone overlap — you don't need to be in Mumbai
- Willing to sign a 2-line NDA before getting access
- Available to start Thursday and work the 4-day window without other major commitments overlapping
